The Division 2 Down on July 21 to Usher TUY8S2.2 and New Event
Ubisoft is set to take another wave of challenges for agents to face in The Division 2 as part of its TUY8S2.2 update, and it starts today.
But before that happens, The Division 2 servers need to be taken down on July 21, and this is part of the game’s maintenance before the title update is released.

The Division 2 Servers Down on July 22 to Bring a New Update
Per Ubisoft, the downtime begins 9:30 AM CEST, 3:30 AM EDT, 12:30 AM PDT, 3:30 PM HKT, and it’s expected to last for five hours. That said, there have been instances where it lasted longer than that and the maintenance gets extended.

Dust Storm Event (July 21 – August 11)
- Limited-time event set in New York featuring hazardous dust storms that reduce visibility and create more dangerous encounters.
- All players receive the Parched Mask for logging in during the event.
- Warlords of New York expansion is free to access throughout the event.
- Requires a Level 40 character and completion of the Warlords campaign to participate.
Dust Storm Gameplay
- Dynamic Calm and Raging Dust Storms affect visibility and gameplay.
- New Dust Devils enemy faction actively hunts players during storms.
- Dust Devils are strongest at long range, encouraging close-quarters combat.
- Defeat enough Dust Devils to spawn event bosses Pall and Black Lung, which drop Storm Keys and unique masks.
- Hidden loot caches have been added across New York and can trigger enemy ambushes.
- A mysterious Scoured Hunter can appear after Raging Dust Storms and also drops Storm Keys.
Event Rewards
- Storm Keys can be earned by defeating Dust Devils, event bosses, and the Scoured Hunter.
- New apparel collection with 43 cosmetic items.
- New event weapon:
- Rabid D50 Named Pistol with the Foam At The Mouth talent.
- Gear caches include:
- Prototype gear
- Named items
- Exotic gear
- Seasonal rewards
- Community Challenge unlocks cosmetic rewards based on total Storm Keys earned.
- Personal milestones award items including St. Elmo’s Engine, Lexington, Prototype weapon, skins, and arm patches.
