Toys for Bob Enters Partnership With Xbox to Publish Next Game
Crash Team Rumble and Crash Bandicoot remake developer Toys for Bob is an independent developer, and after working with Activision, has now moved on to an agreement with Xbox who will publish the studio’s next game.
This was announced over on Twitter/X where the studio also shared that they will be going dark for a bit after today’s announcement.
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be partnering with @Xbox to publish our next new game. We’re still very early in development, so you might not hear from us for a bit – but know that we’re working hard on an experience we’re so sooo inspired about! Can’t wait to share more 💜 pic.twitter.com/6EqrQbabpv

Does this mean Toys for Bob’s next game will be exclusive to Xbox platforms? Given the rumors, there is a chance that Microsoft also publishes the game on other platforms (ie: PlayStation, Nintendo). No word yet on what the studio is currently developing, as it could be another Crash game since Activision is owned by Microsoft now.
Can we expect Toys for Bob’s title to make an appearance at this month’s Xbox Games Showcase? Probably not, but at the very least. Xbox fans have something to look forward to.
