Two New Halloween Games in Development, John Carpenter Involved
Two brand-new Halloween games are in development, with one using Unreal Engine 5 and involving legendary horror director John Carpenter. Boss Team Games, the studio behind Evil Dead: The Game, is working on both titles.
One of the games will be built on the powerful UE5 engine, promising a visually stunning experience. Additionally, in an exciting twist, John Carpenter, the original director of the 1978 Halloween film, is “intimately involved” in the game’s development. He expressed his excitement, saying, “As a huge gamer myself, I’m thrilled to help bring Michael Myers to life again in this game, and my hope is to scare you silly.”
The game will allow players to relive classic moments from the film and take on the roles of iconic characters. However, there are still no details on the platforms or release date.
For those unfamiliar, Halloween has had a rocky history with video game adaptations. The only official game based on the franchise was released in 1983 for the Atari 2600. Therefore, these new projects are highly anticipated among fans.
Nevertheless, fans of the horror genre have plenty to look forward to as more details emerge.

That’s awesome, I’m not sure what would be better playing as Micheal Myers or playing as a survivor. Either way, the concept of a Halloween game being in development is just awesome.
