Microsoft has been having a rather bumpy weekend with their game network as Xbox Live is down for a second day in a row, with users reporting unable to make purchases, and even launch games.

Xbox Live Down June 12:

Users trying to log onto their Xbox may notice some problems as the network is currently experiencing some issues as confirmed by Microsoft over on the official Xbox Twitter.

We’re aware that some users may not be able to purchase or launch games at this time. Please stay tuned for updates here or check our status page.

Whilst not everyone is having issues, it does seem to be many, with the biggest problem being that users are noticing that they can’t launch some of their games. The official status page has marked “limited” for the storefront, cloud gaming and remote play, as well gaming for downloaded titles.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation, but if you are experiencing issues you’ll sadly just have to wait it out. As soon as the network is fully back up, we will be sure to update this post.
