This started an hour ago and has persisted with multiple reports flooding in from gamers.

Xbox Live Down and Impacting Online Gaming and More on October 29

Update: Microsoft has issued an announcement confirming all services are up and running, stating, “All Xbox Services have recovered to their pre-incident state. Thank you for your patience while we addressed this issue.”

Original Story:

The Xbox downdetector site has seen thousands of new reports surface in the last hour, and people on the Xbox subreddit have mentioned it as well. What’s odd here is that the official Xbox support site isn’t even loading, and there has been no acknowledgment of the outage from Microsoft.

We’re closely monitoring the situation and if anything changes, we’ll update the article. Hopefully, Microsoft offers a statement or an update soon, so we at least know what’s happening.

If you can connect or play online on your Xbox platform, leave a comment below, but as far as we’re aware, this is happening to everyone in the world right now.

In other Xbox news, a new rumor has surfaced stating that the next-gen Xbox will run on Windows, and will even remove the multiplayer paywall. The Xbox division’s Phil Spencer also confirmed that Hideo Kojima’s OD horror game is being aided by Xbox both in terms of technical and even in gameplay.
