Apex Legends Latest Update on Aug. 13 Applies Version 1.000.106 for Mixtape Fixes

A new minor update is available for Apex Legends on consoles and PC, and this brings the game to version 1.000.106. This should appear as a small download on all platforms, and it applies a short list of fixes.

The most notable fix here are for the Mixtape progression bug, Loot Bin spawn placements and more.

Apex Legends Mixtape Progression Issue Resolved in Update 1.000.106

Here’s the official list of fixes for today’s patch courtesy of Respawn:

  • Challenges not gaining progress in Mixtape
  • Loot Bins spawning in places they shouldn’t be
  • Caustic’s Gas Fighter upgrade persisting for longer than intended
  • Bangalore’s upgraded abilities destroying deployables through walls
  • An issue causing Sparrow to have fewer arrows than intended when using a Bocek in Wildcard
  • Added an Amp icon to enemy health bars to indicate when players have Amps equipped

Alongside today’s fixes, we’ve included the list of known issues Respawn is developing via the official Trello board. Note that some of the issues listed below have been resolved with today’s patch.

On Respawn’s Radar

  • Showdown Split 1 BP auto-completing
  • Reports of missing/disappearing challenges
  • Reports of missing/disappearing challenges
  • Founder’s badge shows as locked, but can still be equipped
  • Reports of high CPU usage while running the game

Investigating

  • [Support] Received EVO from squadmate using Survey Beacon/Ring Console is inconsistent
  • [Mixtape] Some challenges not tracking progress correctly
  • Inactive EVO Harvester maintains hitbox from active state
  • [Xbox] FPS drops with Bloodhound Ult

Fix in Progress

  • [Storm Point] Loot Bins occasionally spawn inside inaccessible areas/decor
  • [Xbox] Reports of settings being reset with S26 launch
  • [Retro Packs] Visual error with progress bar, still tracking in backend
  • [Controller Perk] Not able to cast EVAC from Ring Console
