Ark Survival Ascended New Update 1.072.016 Fixes Collision Issues
Studio Wildcard has released a small patch for Ark: Survival Ascended on PC and consoles today, September 29, to address a few nagging issues affecting gamers.
This patch appears as version 1.072.016 on consoles and v72.16 on PC. Don’t expect much from this, as it is a targeted update.

Ark Survival Ascended’s Collision Issues Fixed in Latest Update 1.072.016 /72.16
v72.16 – Minor version for PS5, Xbox and Windows Clients – 09/29/2025
- Fix for incorrect collision on treasure chest when placed on the back of a car.
- Fix to allow cosmetic mods to access movie files.
v72.12 – Minor version for Servers – 09/19/2025
- Blueprints made from Helicoprion and items crafted from those blueprints no longer retain the Club ARK reward tag.
- This will apply retroactively to existing items on server bootup.
- Performance improvement with Dung Beetles.
- Fixed issue causing Unofficial Servers to ignore config and ini changes.
- Worker Bees are no longer killed by the bio grinder.
- Fixed an exploit.
There was also a client patch released earlier this month that addressed the stall issue gamers had experienced.
