Game Freak has pushed out another new game update for Beast of Reincarnation, and this one brings more improvements.

Console gamers will see the download as Beast of Reincarnation update 1.012 | 01.012.000, which puts the game to version 1.1.01

For the complete list of changes and improvements made, read on for the official patch notes.

While receiving game updates is a good thing, that’s coming to an end soon for Beast of Reincarnation.

Beast of Reincarnation Update on October 9 Brings New Features

Beast of Reincarnation update 1.011

  • After clearing the terraced rice fields in front of the Kyokaku in the middle of the game, you can choose to proceed without clearing the Pilgrimage Zone, Matsukawa Colony Zone, and Fuji Frontline Zone together, or continue as before.
This allows you to focus on the story and reach the capital faster, or to progress faster during replay.
    * If you select ‘Rush to the Capital,’ you cannot earn achievements in the Pilgrimage Area, Matsukawa Colony Area, or Fuji Frontline Area during NEW GAME, but you can earn achievements by selecting ‘Tour the Mountain Route’ in your pre-branch save data or during NEW GAME+.
  • Added an option to adjust the “Field of View (FOV)” in the settings screen. (PC)
  • Added a feature to turn “Event & Movie Skip Display” ON/OFF on the settings screen.

Ongoing Improvements in Event and Movie Areas

  • In numerous event scenes, we adjusted the intervals between lines and the tempo of the production.
  • Fixed an issue where dialogue subtitles would remain on screen after skipping an event.
  • Fixed an issue where, in certain events, consecutive skip operations could cause progress to become impossible.
  • Fixed an issue where character positions and camera orientations would appear unnatural after event skips.

Fixes of various issues and technical improvements

  • Fixed an issue where manually deactivating Resonance Acceleration would cause the lock-on ON/OFF to switch unintentionally.
  • Fixed an issue where canceling a treasure chest unlock during Kuu’s blooming skill would cause the camera to lock onto Kuu.
  • Fixed an issue where Ku would use items against enemies in the ‘Absolute’ state.
  • Fixed an issue where the display of ‘absolute’ would remain on the screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the exploration information ‘Explosive Arrow Recipe’ that could be ordered from the Legendary Golem could no longer be accepted after the second playthrough.
  • The load of effect generation has been distributed to improve performance.
  • In each area, we have fixed background gaps, model indentation, and unnatural transparent entry no-entry checks.
  • Adjusted the depth and range of submersion detection in each area.

Game Freak has also announced that they want to inform the player base, “that the high-frequency update cycle, which has been ongoing since the release, will come to an end with the next release scheduled for October 20 Japan time.”

While we might still get a patch or two if anything gets broken, expect the October 20 patch to be the final one in terms of new features or major fixes.
