DayZ Update 1.81 Delivers Patch 1.28 on All Platforms
The last update of 2025 for DayZ is here, and it brings the game to version 1.28 on all platforms. Console gamers will see this download appear as DayZ update 1.81, and this should be a small download.
Don’t expect anything major in terms of new content, as this patch aims to fix a few nagging issues, more than anything else.

As you can see, there’s a known issue, though Bohemia hasn’t mentioned whether we’ll see it fixed before the year is done or if it’ll be part of the game’s next update.
