Death Stranding 2 New Update 1.008 Fixes Stutter Isssues
Kojima Productions has released the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach update 1.008 (complete ver. 01.008.000) on PS5 today, and it’s for a particular fix that has bothered gamers for a while now.
This a minor update, and doesn’t add in new gameplay features or content, though its fix is something players have been looking forward to for quite some time.
Death Stranding 2’s Update on August 7 Applies Fixes via Patch 1.008
Clocking in at 925 MB, today’s Death Stranding 2 patch “addresses an issue where the camera / environment would appear to stutter when in motion.”
Alongside this, the PlayStation support studio that helped in developing the game added that there are “other minor fixes and improvements” included as well.
We’ve yet to get a significant patch that addressed multiple issues, and there’s no word whether we’ll even get one eventually.
Hopefully, unlike the last patch released last month, today’s update doesn’t introduce any issues that require another update to address. We’re on the lookout for whether this patch also resolves issues not mentioned by the devs, and if we find anything, we’ll update the article with the info.
In other Sony PlayStation news, first-party Marvel fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is getting its first closed beta next month, and you might want to get in on the action. Sony is also busy, as they are suing Tencent for ripping off their Horizon franchise.
