Death Stranding: Director’s Cut Update 1.005 Released on PS5
Aside from Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Kojima Productions has also updated the first game in the franchise, though only the PS5 version.
For PS5 owners, this will show up as Death Stranding: Director’s Cut update 1.005 (complete version 1.005.000), and this clocks in at 5.78 GB.

Death Stranding PS5 Version Updated to 1.005 and Adds Power Save
While Sony nor Kojima Productions have said anything yet, we can confirm that the update does add the Power Save feature. For those unaware of what it is, Sony rolled it out last month as a system update.
The Power Save feature is a mod that runs the console at less power, at the cost of lower frame rate and resolution.
One Reddit user said that this also adds Mandarin as a dub option and some “minor performance improvements,” which means that some bugged areas might now be fixed.
