Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Update 2.000.005 Fixes Issues When Switching Characters, Stun Adjustments and More
[summaraize]
Developer Spike Chunsoft has released Dragon Ball Sparking Zero update 2.000.005 on all platforms this December 20, and this implements fixes from bugs that surfaced from last week’s patch that brought in new features. Expect this to be a much smaller download, though the fixes it has in tow are significant enough to affect gameplay.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s Latest Patch Version 2.000.005 Fixes Switching Character Bug
Here’s what got fixed per Bandai Namco:
- Fix an issue where switching a character under certain conditions causes the character entering the battle to have their health completely healed.
- Adjust the conditions to trigger a stun from Smash Ki Blasts that cause stuns.
- Fix an issue where you can’t follow-up attack an enemy that is sent flying downwards.
- (STEAM only) We also fixed a connection issue that occurred when users used different versions of Windows 11 (version 24H2 or later).
Of course, this doesn’t mean the developers have ignored the other bugs, it’s just that these issues take priority since they affect gameplay significantly. Chances are, we’ll get another update in January, as this should be the last title update for the game as the devs go on holidays.
If you’ve yet to play the game, go read our review where we state, “Like past entries in the series, it may take a little while for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero to really click with you due to the perceived difficulty at the start. Once it does click though, you are in for a real treat with easily one of the best Dragon Ball games to date.”
Once another patch is out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
