Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Update 2.12

Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect2 have released Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot update 2.12 on consoles and PC, which players on current-gen will see as DBZ: Kakarot download version 1.020.020.

This should bring the Daima DLC data, though it won’t be accessible just yet. The DLC was announced in October 2024 and, as one might expect, brings the Daima storyline into the game. However, Bandai Namco has not confirmed this, though that’s the logical explanation.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s New Update

Update: Bandai Namco has released the Daima DLC Steam page and confirmed the DLC won’t be out until July for part 1, and part 2 won’t be out until 2026. We’ll monitor the situation and will update once we find the proper notes.

  • The DLC will feature Daima Goku and his friends in an adventure in the Demon Realm.
  • Expect new characters to be make an appearance,
  • The first part of the DLC will cover eight episodes of the show.

There is no word on whether we’ll see other content added or any gameplay-related changes made. We’ve reached out to Bandai Namco for more information about the new title update and will add it to the story if we hear back.

We’re combing through the game’s community to see if they notice anything.
