Fallout 4 Receives Update 1.46 on October 15
Bethesda has released Fallout 4 update 1.46 and it makes its way out in time for Fallout Day, which kicks off next week.
Available for download now on October 15 across all platforms the game has been released on, today’s patch is technically announced, so don’t expect anything major.
That said, Bethesda has commented on Fallout Day and what festivities it has planned.

Chances are, today’s update brings some of the content planned for Fallout Day next week.

A day for all fans to come together and celebrate everything Fallout.
When it comes to the game itself, there are still bugs present that haven’t been resolved.
- Stuttering and frame-rate drops in dense areas
- Flickering textures and visual glitches
- Occasional crashes and instability
If Bethesda releases something about today’s patch, we’ll be sure to let our readers know. Based on the celebration roadmap, Fallout 76 might be getting something too outside of the World Pets preview.
In other Fallout news, Fallout 5 is in pre-production, though we shouldn’t expect it to be released anytime soon. That said, remasters for New Vegas and Fallout 3 are also in the works, and we should get those soon before FO5.
