GTA 6 Will Feature “Scenes of Intercourse” and “Sexual Fetishes” Per Rating
The Grand Theft Auto franchise has not shied away from controversy since it hit it big with Grand Theft Auto 3, and it seems this will continue with GTA 6.
While we’ve had sex experiences in past entries in the franchise, GTA 6 might be kicking it up a notch based on the game’s official rating.
In addition to violence and sex, the game will also feature “frequent” drug us, which I am guessing a lot of parents will have issues with once they see on their kids’ screens playing out.
GTA 6 Sex and Drugs Info Surface From Rating
Grand Theft Auto 6’s PEGI (Pan-European Game Information) rating has been published today, and as one might expect, it has an age rating of 18, with tags for “violence,” “sex,” “drugs” and “in-game purchases.”

When it comes to “content-specific issues,” the PEGI board states:
This game contains frequent depictions of violence; due to the free roam nature of the game the player can harm all other characters inhabiting the environment. This includes civilians, criminals and the authorities. Violence is bloody with a high degree of realism, with certain weapons being able to cause greater damage such as detailed decapitation and dismemberment. Drug use is frequent and prominent with the player being able to partake in drug use with others and to use illegal drugs directly from their inventory. Most notably, cocaine can be carried around by the player and snorted directly from their hand at any time. There are also strong sexual themes, including nudity, scenes of intercourse and occasional scenes of sexual fetishes. In various night clubs the player can also pay for private dances, during which, the game allows the player to move their hands onto the dancers’ breasts and buttocks.
It’s not just drug use and sex that’s in the game, but players can even harm animals as well, which we now know the game has over 150 kinds of. The rating mentions that for “other issues.”
Domestic animals are present in the environment, these can be harmed by the player, however this does not produce the same injury detail that can be generated towards human characters. The game features frequent strong bad language such as the word ‘fuck’ and occasional use of the word ‘cunt’. Discriminatory language can be heard in the tv shows and on the radio channels. This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
Most likely, gamers everywhere won’t be surprised by the game’s adult content, but like it or not, some parent somewhere will probably buy this for their underage kid without looking at the rating, and then proceed to be outraged that an adult video game shows sex, violence, and drug use.
