Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC Update for Feb. 3 Brings Version 1.001 and Here’s What’s New

Square Enix has released the first post-release patch for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PC, which includes stability adjustments, improvements to Steam Deck functionality, and more.
Note that this patch is only available for PC. Players should see this Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC update for February 3, which brings the game to version 1.001.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s First PC Update Now Live
Per Square Enix, here’s what’s new in today’s patch:
- Improved overall stability.
- Fixed graphics preset defaulting to ‘Low’ on first Steam Deck launch. Saved settings now apply on restart.
- Anti-Aliasing Method defaults to DLSS on supported PCs.
- Updated DirectStorage DLL.
