Square Enix has released Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth update 1.030 on the PS5, and this deals with issues not tackled by the previous update. Read on for what’s new in for the FF7 Rebirth update for April 11.

  • Fixed a bug in the subquest “Challenge from the Junkyard” that occurs in Chapter 12, where the quest would not progress even if the clearing conditions for the G Bike were met.
    *To progress in the quest, you will need to meet the clearing conditions for the G Bike again after the update. Thank you for your understanding.
    *If you have already cleared the quest, your progress will not be reset.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when proceeding with certain procedures in some investigation reports.
  • Fixed a bug in “Battle Simulator” where new courses would rarely not be unlocked. -Fixed
    a bug that would prevent favorability from increasing even if you selected an option that would increase favorability when certain conditions were met. -Fixed a
    bug that prevented the trophy “Senbon Knocker” from being obtained even if the conditions were met, so that it can be obtained.
  • Fixed some bugs that occurred when loading save data under certain conditions, and phenomena that caused the game to be forced to close or become unable to progress during play. -Fixed
    so that the state of the last save data loaded from the previous game is reflected when save data
    from the previous game is loaded repeatedly.
  • Fixed some display bugs.

While no patch notes have been released just yet, we do know that this patch should tix the issue roe the “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” sidequest as per Square Enix’s acknowledgment

While we don’t know the official title or any other details regarding the next Final Fantasy 7 chapter, we do have a few issues with FF7: Rebirth that we wish could have been done better. Read on here for our feature about it.
