Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth update 1.080 is now available to download, but don’t expect anything significant, as this update addresses some known issues with the DualSense features. Here are the patch notes for today’s Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth update.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Update 1.080 Fixes Vibrations
According to Square Enix, this update is a minor one, addressing some vibration issues that the DualSense was experiencing in-game where the controller would not vibrate.
New patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth are now available to download.

Update to Remake PS5 v1.003, Epic Games Store/Steam v1.005, and Rebirth v1.080 resolve issues where the DualSense Wireless Controller’s vibration was not working correctly.
This update does not include anything else, which isn’t surprising considering the game received its big PS5 Pro enhancement update just last month. We do anticipate that more updates will be dropping soon, especially with the PC version arriving this January. Otherwise, that’s all there is in this update!
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store starting January 23. Preorders are now live on both platforms, with a special 30% off promo running up until release. For those who preorder, you’ll also be given a few bonuses, those being the Moogle summon, and two pieces of armor.
