Epic Games has released Fortnite update 1.000.079 today for most platforms. Today’s update is a maintenance patch, with the Switch version of the game getting it at a later date. Check out the Fortnite September 22 patch notes down below.

The only patch notes that have been released so far come from the official Fortnite Status Twitter page. You can read the full message below.

“We’ve released a maintenance patch for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Android devices to address stability issues. Players will need to close their game to grab the update. We’ll provide an update when this is available on Nintendo Switch.”

If any other patch notes are released, we’ll be sure to update this post as soon as possible. Fortnite was already updated earlier this week with the introduction of Chapter 3 Season 4: Paradise. This included some new abilities and new skins for you to use.
