Minecraft New Update 3.29

Mojang has released the first patch for Minecraft for 2026, and this is for Bedrock version 1.21.132! Console gamers will see the download as Minecraft update 3.29, and this one is aimed at fixes more than anything else.

While there’s no new content in tow, the patch does address graphical issues and the disconnect issues that have been plaguing Xbox gamers.

For the complete patch notes, read on.

Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.132 Released as Update 3.29

Fixes:

Accounts

  • Fixed player data becoming disconnected from account for Xbox players in split-screen mode (MCPE-233088)

Graphical

  • Fixed an issue where textures would not be correctly reloaded when changing between graphics modes in the main menu
  • Fixed an issue where add-on resources disappeared after a second Player joined a split-screen session (MCPE-233369)

General

  • Fixed a bug that could cause players to get disconnected if “/effect @e” command is used on too many entities (MCPE-233598)

Items

  • Fixed issue where compass sprite was occasionally invisible (MCPE-232933)

Realms

  • Fixed a freeze that could happen when buying a Realm on Nintendo Switch

Technical Updates

Graphical

  • Fixed attachables not rendering correctly when the game is paused or when rendered in an NPC UI window.

With the Mounts of Mayhem content drop just rolled out last month, don’t expect a major update, as Mojang will be teasing that before it’s officially released.
