Minecraft’s Latest Update 1.027 Applies Fixes on August 13
Players on consoles should see Minecraft update 1.027 (ver. 01.027.000) available for download today, and this minor patch brings a host of fixes as part of Bedrock version 1.21.101!
This aims to address issues with the experimental game drop features introduced last week.
Minecraft’s Update on Aug. 13 Brings It to Version 1.027 on Consoles
Fixes:
- Fixed several crashes that could occur during gameplay
- Fixed a crash that could occur when treatment packs were removed while loading game or loading into a world
- Corrected the Grass color in Swamps and Mangrove Swamps (MCPE-223910)
- Firefly Bush particles now appear in the correct place (MCPE-225267 )
- Fixed Firefly Bushes not generating as frequently as they should (MCPE-226072)
- Fixed an issue with items not being placed into Bundles correctly when interacting with Hoppers
- Fixed an issue on PlayStation 5 where downloading large packs when joining Realms and multiplayer worlds would sometimes fail
- Fixed issue where command selector ‘c=-1’ would not return the furthest matching entity. (MCPE-226102)
That’s about it, though we wouldn’t be surprised to see another one released before the next major content drop is rolled out.
If you also dabble in the Preview build, an update for that was released yesterday that housed a lot more changes. Once Mojang releases another one, expect it here on MP1st.

Thanks for the update! Glad to see Mojang addressing those crashes and bundle issues so quickly the Grass color fix in Swamps is a nice touch too. Can’t wait to see how these changes work when I try them with my Minecraft mod apk setup.
