No Man's Sky Update 6.001

As expected, following yesterday’s massive Voyagers content drop for No Man’s Sky, Hello Games has released a follow-up patch that addresses issues tied to the new content.

Players will see this download appear as No Man’s Sky update 6.001, and this should be a small download.

Note that while this applies fixes, don’t expect every bug and issue to be resolved by this one patch. As more players dig through the new content, there are more bugs that will surface.

No Man’s Sky New Update on Aug. 28 Fixes Voyagers Bugs

While Hello Games has not officially released the patch notes for today, the studio did release an update on the Experimental Branch yesterday, which we would be very surprised if the fixes applied there isn’t the one we received now with today’s patch.

The fixes from Experimental fix Corvette issues and more.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause your Corvette ship to appear at the wrong scale.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause some difficulty when trying to interact with your Corvette.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when warping aboard a Corvette in multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a Corvette ship to land on a regular landing pad in the Space Anomaly.
  • Fixed Looping Grass not appearing when built on a base.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a black screen to appear when playing with HDR enabled on Xbox consoles.
  • Fixed a crash on PS5 that could occur when in the Anomaly.

Once Hello Games releases the official changelog and we get a different set of fixes as the ones listed above, we’ll update the article, though we’re not expecting it to differ from this much.

Expect more fixes to be released in the coming days, as is the norm for the studio after a major update.

If you’re someone who still doesn’t own No Man’s Sky or know someone who wants to pick it up cheap, the latest PSN Store sale has it at a discounted price for a limited time.
