Capcom has begun rolling out a new update for the Resident Evil 3 remake on next-gen platforms, addressing some bugs. Here’s the lowdown on the Resident Evil 3 Update 1.000.002 August 30 update.
Resident Evil 3 Update 1.000.002 Patch Notes | Resident Evil 3 Update August 30 Patch Notes:
[PlayStation5 / Xbox Series X|S]
- – Correction of typos in the porting credits.
- – Fixed a bug that caused the helicopter to disappear in the scene where Jill shoots Nikolai.
[Xbox Series X|S]
- – Fixed a rare bug where save data could not be loaded, and where the game would go through the first-time startup flow even though there was save data present.
That’s it for the official patch notes. For those hoping to see some improvements to the ray-tracing, there have been some reports of users saying that this update does indeed improve it. That still needs further verification and testing, though that would certainly be a surprise if it turns out being true.
