STALKER 2 Update 1.017 Brings Version 2.0.1 as First DLC Hotfix on August 21
After the massive patch released this week bringing the Cost of Hope DLC and the Back to the Zone version 2.0 update, GSC Game World has today released STALKER 2 update 1.017 on all platforms, and this is the first hotfix.
This title update brings the game to version 2.0.1, and it applies an important fix.

STALKER 2 Back to the Zone Update Receives First Hotfix on August 21
The fix for today addresses the following:
- Fixed some broken textures.
Warning:
The Zone is ever-changing, and a new update can shift Her structure. If you’ve chosen to walk the path with modifications, know this: they may not withstand the latest shifts. If you have performance or stability issues following the release of Back to the Zone, we recommend you to disable your mods
Some of the reported issues that still persists even after today’s update include:
- Stick drift issues
- Motion blur issue
- Mod unavailable bug
- Weapon swaying on its own
