tekken 7 update 3.21

Two weeks ago, Bandai Namco released a Tekken 7 patch that while included gameplay changes, didn’t really address the LeRoy Smith issue the community has had since the character launched last year. Today, Tekken 7 update 3.21 has been released, and it seems to have nerfed the character!

Tekken 7 update 3.21 patch notes:

Yes, this patch is just for Leroy! Here are the other known nerfs for LeRoy Smith (via Reddit):

So Leroy’s d1+2 is -4 on block now and does knockdown on CH for a guaranteed hit rather than a launcher. Must check more but I think they are taking the slow tuning route as expected and maybe he will be tuned more in the future.

1, 1, 1+2, 1 – less damage, more pushback, and no wallsplat

d3, 2 – less damage

d1+2 – now -4 on block, seems to be worse on whiff, no longer CH launcher instead a CH knockdown, no longer hits grounded

b1 – 45 damage instead of 50

Hermit 2,1 – now screws much farther than before

f, F2 – less pushback on block

f, F3 – no longer homing, now -2 on block

f, F1+2 – less range, less pushback on block

b2 – parry attack seems to come out slower

Edit:

df 2+3 – less damage from 45 to 35

b1+2 – now -9 on block, less damage, less pushback on block, more pushback on hit, more whiff recovery, still a 12f CH launcher

*Note some of this information could be wrong and just me not remembering things correctly

Hopefully, this helps make the character bearable to fight against.
