The Witcher 3 Remastered Update 5.000.200 Released on October 1 for Version 5.00b
Following yesterday’s massive The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt update that brought the game to its remastered version, CD Projekt RED has today rolled out a hotfix bringing the game to version 5.00b.
Given the bugs that surfaced, this is a quick turnaround for CDPR, as The Witcher 3 Remastered update 5.000.200 is live now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC Xbox Play Anywhere version.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to fix the hairworks issue affecting PC players.

The changes applied today include:
– Fixed an issue where DLSS was unavailable in the Xbox Play Anywhere version of the game on PC.
– Made various lighting adjustments, including fixing some interiors that appeared too dark.
– Made various other adjustments to ensure parity with the PC version.
In addition to that, we’ve also compiled and listed the known issues affecting various platforms of the game.
The Witcher 3 Remastered Known Issues as of October 1

Performance issues related to NVIDIA Hairworks – We are aware of an issue where enabling NVIDIA HairWorks may significantly impact game performance.
We recommend disabling NVIDIA HairWorks until the issue is addressed in a future patch.
There are also performance-related issues affecting all platforms, which we’re hoping CDPR patches out soon.
Even with the issues, The Witcher 3’s upgrade makes it a must-play again, as our review states, “If you’re an action or RPG fan, you need to experience the brilliance of The Witcher 3, as CD Projek RED has made its excellent game, even better. Toss a coin for your witcher, gamers! CDPR deserves it and then some.”
