Following 343 Industries’ announcement of the Halo 4 War Games Map Pass, we’ve got some brand new concept art giving us our first look at the maps included in the upcoming DLC. Additionally, we also treated to some brand new gameplay on the newly introduced map Vortex.
If you haven’t yet heard, 343’s DLC plans for their upcoming FPS epic Halo 4 will consist of nine different maps across three different sets of content drops. This and more is, of course, included in the recently announced Halo 4 War Games Map Pass, a one-time pass purchase, which you can read more about here.
Thanks to the official Halo Bulletin, we get our first look at all nine maps that Halo fans will be able to look forward to this December (DLC 1 – Crimson Map Pack), February (DLC 2 – Majestic Map Pack) and April (DLC 3 – Castle Map Pack). Check out the concept art gallery below!
Let’s not get too carried away with maps we won’t even see on launch, however. For a more near-sighted look at Halo 4, check out this gameplay on the new map Vortex, included in the roster of ten maps we’ll be seeing at launch.
