Battlefield 4 Rumored For an October 29 Release Date Yet Again, Upcoming Battlefield 3 Server Maintenance

Battlefield 3 players on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be experiencing “short, intermittent multiplayer outages” throughout the day today.

The official Battlefield twitter accounts notes, “[Server Maintenance] Apr 8, 10 PM PDT to Apr 9, 2 AM PDT All players may experience short, intermittent multiplayer outages during this time.”

Its not clear exactly what DICE is working on, but it can only mean good things, even if only minuscule.

In more Battlefield 4 news, GameStop promotional material yet again suggests an October 29 release date for the game, previously rumored by the official Xbox Blog. Only a few days ago, EA Germany’s Facebook page also listed Battlefield 4 for an October 31 release date in Germany.

As of yet, nothing has been confirmed by either EA or GameStop, so we’re still categorizing this one as a rumor, despite its likelihood.
