With Sony releasing more and more first-party games on PC, Sony has today launched the PlayStation Studios Steam page! There are about 41 games and DLCs, with some hidden.
The PlayStation Studios Steam page has the following description on its “About” portion:
“PlayStation Studios is home to the development of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s own outstanding and immersive games, including some of the most popular and critically acclaimed titles in entertainment history.”
The featured game on the store is Sony Bend’s Days Gone, which will be out on May 18, while games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Helldivers, Predator: Hunting Grounds and more are showcased, too.
There are also a number of DLC, which is why the number shows as “41 games,” but the reality of it is that this is a combination of both DLC and games available. What’s interesting about this is that only 24 pieces a games and DLC are actually viewable, and while Days Gone may have some extra DLC of some sort to stack that number up, we doubt it’s an extra 17 pieces of content.
Perhaps this is a hint that there are more games to come, or possibly just a listing error? Who knows, but we are pretty confident that Sony plans on releasing more PlayStation exclusives over on PC in the near future.
Hardware shortage must’ve forced them to r expand their software
Not the hardware shortage. It’s the buyers. They could be meeting demand just fine and not be able to sell enough exclusive software. Happens with all new consoles. Gaming is the software business. Releasing games on PC, or the PS4 is a good idea for them. It prints money at almost no extra cost to them.
Hell no.. it’s just more money duhh lol
More money they’ll use to make more games
I mean yeah.. but company greed too bro lool
Oh no shame on them for wanting to make profits 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Even less reasons to buy a ps5
Horrific news for PlayStation fans. Why invest in consoles if all PlayStation and Xbox games are on PC? Consoles are becoming more and more obsolete.
Hmmm maybe not everyone lucky like to get 1000$ plus pc in home
It doesn’t require a brain to think this way
Try not to sound like an idiot when being a condescending prick. I can certainly tell that it doesn’t require a brain to think the way that you do.

Of course, I talk like an idiot. How else would you understand me?

What a stupid take lool.. maybe because Xbox fans and PlayStation guys have NO interest in PC!?? does that ever occur to people like you?!
People like me? Cry me a river, kid.
Your OP is naive and stupid, wtf do you expect….kid?!
yeah people lik eyou loool
Honestly, I think a comparable PC to either xbox or playstation is way more expensive.. than either console.. plus I think there is way better games on the systems.. I also think it’s just ease of usability as well.
Yeah Sony has games come out on PC but not until a year or more after they are out on playstation and not every game they have come out has hit the PC either. But I can’t speak much for Xbox, because they do have all their games hitting PC day one.. I think. But still ease of access is the best answer to why consoles have been so good, although PC has made strides in making them way easier.. thats why phones are the hottest gaming market if you ask me.. little mobile computers are definitely a missed investment opportunity in life. The creator of them is living large im sure. Lol wish it woulda been my idea.
I think this is more of Sony capitalizing their IPs for more revenue. I mean, it takes money to develop these amazing, single-player games that don’t have “live service” revenue models attached to them.
That said, it will take some time for these games to appear, and not every game is guaranteed. I think the biggest franchise won’t crossver (Uncharted, God of War, etc).
I don’t think having the games on PC as well takes any value away from a console user. More the merrier. I have both highend PC and PS5 and I’ll play games on console cause I like it’s features and ecosystem not because I can’t play something on PC.
Eh, not really?
Console buyers are there for simplicity and consoles offer that.
Also buying an affordable GPU hasnt been easy for a few years now.
Death Stranding still the best pc port and by far!
