Dying Light 2 Upcoming Update 1.3.0 Out Later This Week; New Parkour Challenges Incoming Alongside New Game+

Earlier this month, Techland announced that the next Dying Light 2 patch will drop by the “end of April.” Well, given we’re in the month’s last week, the studio reiterated this claim, and has announced in the latest Dying 2 Know episode that the Dying Light 2 upcoming update 1.3.0 will be out in two days!

Players can expect a New Game+ mode which will have its nightrunner tools (like the grapple and the new paraglider) taken away in the mode, 30 new inhibitors to be added, new parkour challenges in this week’s patch.

Besides the big one that is New Game+, Techland teased that this Dying Light 2 update will be their biggest yet, expected to drops tons of fixes for both single and co-op play. The update also looks to be on schedule, as the developer mentioned that it will be up by the end of April.

With this next big patch, Dying Light 2 will look to expand its playerbase even further; Techland recently announced that Dying Light 2 has surpassed the five-million mark during its first month, while the first Dying Light game has reached 20 million in total. Read more about it here.
