It seems Battlefield 2042 players are having issues connecting to online services, as Battlefield 2042 down reports have surfaced once again this June 16, which is the second time this has happened within seven days.
Battlefield 2042 Down Status and Updates for June 16:
Update: DICE has announced that they have issued a temporary fix!
We've just deployed a temporary fix to reduce the amount of time needed to connect to Online Services and Matchmaking
We continue to work on resolving this issue but you may find that you're receiving notification of ranking up but are unable to use unlocks until the round ends pic.twitter.com/B2q8Uru3Ab

Here’s the announcement from DICE:
It’s taking longer than expected to connect to online services on #Battlefield 2042 – we’re on it.
You will be able to connect by just waiting through the issue, but it may fail to initially load your Player Card and associated unlocks.
We’ll have these back online soon.
It loks like players are able to connect, it’s just a wee bit harder to do so than normal. We’ll be updating this post with the server and connection status once DICE releases more info about it.
In the meantime, go check out this week’s BF2042 store refresh, as well as the new weekly missions and more listed here. Don’t forget, DICE is also shaking things up a bit by adding an Exposure 24/7 Breakthrough playlist today, too.
