Among Us Servers Down on December 24
There Are Some Servers Down Among Us. Alright, that wasn’t a good way to make a pun, but that’s besides the point. If you’re reading this, then chances are you are one of the many survivors who can’t play Among Us online.
With it being the day before Christmas, several online games are being affected by server issues, including Among Us.
Among Us Server Status for December 24 and December 25
Well, that’s probably a familiar screen for many of you, as upon booting up Among Us, players will be greeted with a long loading screen, followed by the message above telling players that it’s taking a while to sign in. At the moment, developers Innersloth have yet to issue any statement about the downtime, though chances are high that Among Us is being affected by the same issues as games such as ARC Raiders, Rocket League, ARK Survival Ascended, and many others are encountering right now.
Luckily, you can play offline. But considering this is an online-centric game that works better when you play with friends and other people, I doubt many would want to play like that.
We aren’t sure if this is just because of the Holiday rush that Christmas day normally brings, or if there is something bigger going on, like a DDoS attack of sorts. Hopefully not the latter, though we’ll be keeping an eye out if any news like that arises.
So farm, Innersloth hasn’t said anything about the outage, but we’re hoping they are working on resolving it ASAP. What we do know is that the devs are on break until January 5, 2026, though I doubt they’ll let the game experience issues for that long. There is a free, limited-time 2026 NYE hat that should be available to players if they log in starting December 26, 2025. This giveaway ends on January 31, 2026, so best to login once the servers are back up.
For now, you’ll have to wait it out. Perhaps open a few presents if you haven’t already, to keep your mind busy.
