Alongside the confirmation of GTA 6’s November release and the start of Rockstar Games’ marketing campaign this summer, Take-Two’s latest financial report also shared some possible details about the launch window for Judas, the new project created by BioShock director Ken Levine.

And it seems that Judas has been internally delayed, with the game now possibly targeting fiscal year 2028/2029 for release.

According to information from the report, the launch plans for the game may have been moved to a much later period, which is surprising considering how long fans have already been waiting for the title.

Ken Levine’s Judas Could Release in Fiscal Year 2028/2029

These new estimates partly match recent comments from Ken Levine himself. During an interview not long ago, the creator explained that the development team was working very hard to reach the polishing phase of the project.

However, his comments also made it clear that the team is dealing with many problems that are currently slowing down progress toward finishing the game and reaching the final goal.

Considering that Judas was announced three years ago and that BioShock Infinite, Levine’s last game, released in 2013, it means that by 2028 there will have been 15 years since his previous title.

In the same report, Take-Two also confirmed that the company plans to release 22 titles during FY2028 and FY2029, a lineup that specifically includes “3 Core New IPs,” although not many details about them were revealed.

With all these projects, together with the huge launch of GTA 6, the coming years are shaping up to be very exciting for Take-Two.

In other news, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick admitted to being “scared” about the launch of GTA 6 because of the extremely high expectations.
