Kicking things off for Sony’s State of Play today is a gameplay demo for Marvel’s Wolverine! While there are no HUD elements (for cinematic effect), we do get to see the game in action.

Also shown off in the trailer are other superheroes! We see Jean Grey, Deadpool, Sabertooth and a lot more appear in the trailer.

Marvel’s Wolverine will be released exclusively on the PS5 on September 15, 2026. Given Sony’s latest change of heart when it comes to releasing its first-party, narrative-driven games on PC, don’t expect to play Logan’s adventure on any platform outside of PlayStation.
