Report: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Delayed to Feb. 10, 2027; Deluxe Edition & Screenshots Leak Ahead of State of Play
Just an hour before Sony’s State of Play airs, it seems one of its big announcements has leaked already. This one isn’t about any first-party title, but it’s still a big one, and it’s about the latest Tomb Raider game in development.
Announced six months ago, Tomb Raider; Legacy of Atlantis was set to be released sometime this year for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
It seems that’s not happening anymore, as a retailer’s page for the game seemingly went up a wee bit earlier than intended, and released a trove of info about the action-adventure game.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Deluxe Edition Contents, Screenshots Leak
This time, the leak comes from online retailer Amazon, who listed Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis’ release date as Feb. 10, 2027. Not only that, but we even get a look at the Deluxe Edition and its contents.
As you can see, the pre-order bonus is also revealed by the screenshot, as well as the confirmation of a post-launch DLC story pack.
The Amazon page for the game (which has since been pulled) lists the Standard Edition at $59.99, while the Deluxe Edition is $69.99, which is a pleasant surprise to see.
For reference, here’s a look at the pre-order bonuses for each edition per the leaked listing:
| Content | Standard Edition | Deluxe Edition |
|---|---|---|
| Base Game | ✅ | ✅ |
| Pre-order Bonus: Survivor Outfit (Early Unlock) | ✅ | ✅ |
| Pre-order Bonus: 48-Hour Early Access | ❌ | ✅ |
| Digital Deluxe: Parisian Outfit (Early Unlock) | ❌ | ✅ |
| Digital Deluxe: Post-Launch DLC Story Pack | ❌ | ✅ |
This is an easy decision to make, as if you want to play the game two days early, then get the Deluxe Edition, which also grants the buyer access to the DLC story pack whenever it releases. But for those who just want the game, pick up the Standard Edition, which is the no-frills one, though you will get the Survivor Outfit early unlock for pre-ordering it.
Alongside the Amazon leak, Sony’s own PlayStation Store page for Legacy of Atlantis is now up too, and it provides the official game description and a slew of new screenshots.
