With yesterday’s big reveal of our first look at Alan Wake 2 gameplay, Remedy has lifted the lid on the game’s details. The studio has confirmed that Alan Wake 2 DLC will indeed be coming post-launch (both paid and free) and what players can expect for -pre-ordering it too.
According to Remedy, Alan Wake 2 will feature both free content and two paid expansions.
Will Alan Wake 2 have post-launch support?
Yes! We will be supporting Alan Wake 2 post-launch with both free content as well as two paid expansions. The expansions are called Night Springs and the Lake House, but that’s all we are going to tell you about them. For now.
In addition to that, the studio has also revealed details on the Alan Wake 2 pre-order bonuses and what’s in the Deluxe Edition of the game as well.

Bear in mind, for now, Alan Wake 2 is only planned for release digitally though that can change in the future.
Alan Wake 2 is set for release this October 17 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and will feature two protagonists with two parallel stories.
