Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced Rated, Indicates Reveal Is Imminent
In January of this year, we reported on how Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is getting a remake that would be more than just a visual upgrade.
While Ubisoft has remained tight-lipped about it, evidence suggested that something was in the works.
Now, what could possibly be our strongest case for the remake has surfaced, and it indicates we’ll be hearing about it very soon.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake Titled “Resynced”
European video game ratings committee PEGI (Pan-European Game Information) has filed an 18 for Mature rating for a game titled “Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.” While the filing has since been deleted, since, y’know, the game isn’t even supposed to exist, it has managed to circulate online and was shared by reliable leakers such as shinobi.
Aside from the rating, not much info has been shared, though we suspect our previous findings about the remake is still applicable. This is also one of many Assassin’s Creed games being remade, if Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot’s statements from 2024 are to be believed.
Chances are, given the filing timing, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is one of the games set to be unveiled at this week’s The Game Awards.
Speaking of which, The Game Awards statue that has baffled gamers for about a week has been solved by us, and it seems it’s connected to a new Divinity game.
The Game Awards airs this December 11, and we’ll have the major announcements on the show available here on the site.
