Assassin’s Creed Hexe Could Launch in Late 2027
Assassin’s Creed is a franchise that keeps releasing new games on a regular basis, which means players never have to wait too long for the next entry.
However, that also means attention quickly shifts to what’s coming next. With Black Flag Resynced currently getting most of the attention, it’s only a matter of time before the focus moves to Codename Hexe.
Ubisoft has shared very little official information about the upcoming game. Most of what is known has come from leaks, including an estimated release window.
Assassin’s Creed Hexe Reportedly Targeting a Late 2027 Release
According to insider Nate the Hate, Assassin’s Creed Hexe is expected to launch in the second half of 2027. Replying to a fan on X (formerly Twitter), who asked when the game would be revealed, he said, “Game won’t launch until second half of 2027, at earliest. They don’t need to rush a reveal/announcement.”
While Nate the Hate has not been the main source of Hexe leaks, he has built a strong reputation by accurately reporting several projects before their official announcements. His past leaks include the return of Star Fox, an Ocarina of Time remake, and multiple Switch 2 games.
If Hexe does arrive between June and December 2027, it would fit Ubisoft’s usual autumn launch schedule for Assassin’s Creed games. Releasing close to Halloween would also match the game’s dark atmosphere and witch-hunt setting.
Ubisoft also appears to be taking its time with the announcement. Even though Black Flag Resynced had already leaked, the company waited until April 2026 to officially reveal it, only four months before launch.
Nonetheless, while Nate the Hate has made accurate claims in the past, this information should still be taken with a pinch of salt. As more information about the game becomes available, we’ll be sure to keep you updated here at MP1st.
