There was little doubt that Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage would feature in-game purchases, much like the previous games in the series. A first Assassin’s Creed Mirage microtransaction leak just popped up, giving players an idea about the kind of packs that they can acquire to complement their adventures in Baghdad. Unsurprisingly or not, some players aren’t very happy about it.
The example unearthed shows a designated Fire Demon Pack, which you can see below. Apparently, it includes fire-themed armor for your character and a special mount, along with a weapon skin. This is surely one offer among several, but it gives us an idea on the kind of Assassin’s Creed Mirage microtransactions that are planned for release.

Naturally, discussions on the value of Assassin’s Creed Mirage microtransactions have started, with some players vocally against it, especially since it’s a full-priced game – although it’s not a first for the series – and others just claiming that these optional purchases can be safely ignored. How much they break immersion is another argument used to contest it, but is this something really valid for a single-player game? Again, it’s a matter of personal opinions.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage launches on October 12, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and Ubisoft says that a full run will take players between 20 and 30 hours on average.
Don’t care, I’m not touching an Xbone made game going into 2024 regardless.
