While Season 3 of Battlefield 2042 just launched today, DICE has already shared details on when the shooter’s next patch will drop as well. Players can expect the Battlefield 2042 next update 3.1 to be released “before” the holidays.

This was shared by DICE in the official Season 3 patch notes, where the studio also confirmed that a new mid-season event will take place in December, too.

Update 3.1 will land before the Holidays, you can expect to see the reworked Manifest map, more Vault Weapons added to All-Out Warfare alongside further fixes and changes. With a brand new Mid-Season Event taking place later in December.

Players should expect another round of adjustments and fixes in the upcoming patch as well. Interestingly enough, DICE has already said that the mid-season patch containing the Specialist rework will arrive in “early 2023.” So it seems, we are getting two more patches before Season 4 hits.
