Battlefield 4 Exclusive Beta Now Live on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

Digital Illusions CE and Electronic Arts have officially launched the exclusive Battlefield 4 beta for users with early access privileges.

Should you be a member of Battlefield 3 Premium, an owner of a Battlefield 4 PC Digital Deluxe Edition pre-order, or an owner of Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition, you fall into the early access category and will be able to download the beta on the platform to which your early access privileges are tied.

The beta is currently available for download on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 – for the most part. At the time of writing, some users on the PlayStation 3, maybe even the Xbox 360, may still be awaiting their turn to download the beta, as DICE notes it is gradually being released across the globe.

Here’s how to find the beta.

  • Origin: Check the My Games tab if you’re in the closed beta. To find the Open Beta, search for Battlefield 4.
  • Xbox LIVE: Find Battlefield 4 in the Featured section.
  • PlayStation Network: search for Battlefield4  Store

Along with the beta, users can also check out the newly updated Battlelog 2.0, now available on iOS and Android devices.

Before hopping in, be sure to read up on everything you need to know about the beta right here, and bookmark the official Battlefield 4 Forums where you’ll be able to provide valuable feedback throughout the process. It might also be a good idea to follow @Battlefield on Twitter for timely updates, as server outages will be expected.

Remember, the public will be able to join in on the action this Friday, October 4, when the Battlefield 4 beta becomes open to all.

Battlefield 4 launches October 29 on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, November 12 on the PlayStation 4 and November 19 on the Xbox One.
