As mentioned yesterday, Battlefield 5 update 1.22 is now out, and it enables the Marita map to be playable! Aside from that, there’s two soldier skins, and that’s pretty much it. There are no fixes, or anything else that’s included in the BF5 update 1.22 according to DICE. Clocking in at just 551MB on PS4, 500MB on Xbox One, 270MB on PC, you can check out the super short Battlefield 5 update 1.22 patch notes below, as well as a list of the known issues players might encounter with the Marita map.

Battlefield 5 update 1.22 patch notes:

  • Enables the Marita map (will be live at 12 p.m. CEST/ 3 a.m/ PT/6 a.m. ET) on all platforms, and will activate a Marita-only playlist at this time. This playlist will rotate between one round of Conquest, and two rounds of Breakthrough (Attack/Defend) on this map only. Marita will also be included in the full rotations of Conquest, Breakthrough, Team Deathmatch (appearing after Arras in Conquest, after Devastation in Breakthrough, and after Al Sundan on TDM) at the time of the map’s availability
  • Two hours after the map is live, the Elite soldier skins Ilse, and Kingsley, will be live in the store
  • Starting August 8, DICE will launch a newer Marita playlist live for 32-player modes that switches from Domination, Frontlines, and Team Deathmatch (TDM).

Note that there is NO expected downtime for this Battlefield 5 update today, but players will need to restart the game in order to download and install the patch.

DICE has also mentioned that there is a known issue with weapon skins in the Marita map, which you can check out below.
