Battlefield 6 Players Spot Missing Scenes in Campaign; Suggests Content Was Cut
It’s fair to say that the Battlefield 6 campaign isn’t the standout feature of DICE’s new shooter, with many reviews noting it falls short in several areas, and some players even believing that parts of its content were cut based on clues found online.
Since the series has consistently focused on multiplayer, the single-player part of Battlefield 6 might not be its most important part. However, after its complete absence in Battlefield 2042, the return of a campaign was something players were looking forward to in this new chapter.
Fans Suspect Battlefield 6 Campaign Was Cut After Spotting Missing Scenes

Battlefield 6 campaign turned out to be a relatively small part of the overall game, running only about five hours. Players are now discussing whether it was shortened further during development.
On Reddit, user Mikalton highlighted scenes and characters shown in trailers and early gameplay footage that never appear in the final campaign, suggesting that some story elements may have been changed or removed.
In his post, Mikalton mentioned feeling misled after realizing that several shots from the reveal trailer, including the moment where a man with arm tattoos slams a table, never appear in the game.

According to him, three other similar shots are also missing, which made him feel that the story might have originally taken a different direction before release.
Mikalton mentions that cinematic scenes from the reveal trailer that don’t match anything found in the story. This suggests those scenes may have been planned but later removed from the final version of Battlefield 6.
There are also inconsistencies in the story flow, especially around the mission set in Egypt, which many players say feels completely unrelated to the rest of the campaign. On top of that, the timeline of events in general feels confusing and out of order, making some missions seem disconnected from each other. This made many fans think that different teams handled the design of individual missions.
Of course, these are only fan theories for now, and players are still waiting to see if any official details or explanations will emerge. Still, many agree with the user’s view that the final campaign may not be what the developers originally planned.
