Battlefield 6 Cosmetics Bundle free

With the launch of Battlefield 6 Season 3, players aren’t just getting a new map, weapons, and mode, but publisher Electronic Arts also has something special for PS5 gamers.

The publisher has also made an in-game cosmetics bundle called the “Search and Destroy Pack, which is bundled at $20, free to redeem. If I had to hazard a guess, this pack is part of Sony’s co-marketing deal with EA for Battlefield 6.

For those who game on Xbox and PC, you’ll see this bundle in the BF6 in-game store, but there is a way to get it for free.

Battlefield 6 “Search and Destroy Pack” Can Be Obtained for Free on All Platforms

The items included in the Search and Destroy Pack are:

  • “Tactical Surge” NATO Support Soldier Skin
  •  “Clean Kill” M/60 LMG Weapon Package
  • “Sureshot” SGX SMG Weapon Package
  • “Headhunter” Soldier Patch
  • “Right On Target” Dog Tag
  • “Volitant Survey” Parachute
  • “Hot Pursuit” Player Card Background
  • “Tristar” Weapon Charm
  • “Cardinal Direction” Vehicle Decal
  • “Caltrop” Vehicle Skin
  • “Test Fire” Weapon Sticker

For those with an active PlayStation Plus membership, you’ll be able to snag the bundle for free either in the in-game store or by visiting this PlayStation Store link and redeeming.

There is a way to get the bundle for free if you’re on Xbox and PC. However, you will need to be an active PlayStation Plus member or find a trial subscription of some sort, and a PS5. In order to get it, just download Battlefield RedSec for free on the PSN Store, and with your active PS Plus membership, redeem the bundle in the free-to-play battle royale, and it will show up as part of your inventory in Battlefield 6. And given the game (BF6) has full cross-platform progression, anything you earn for RedSec and BF6 for any platform will transfer to another platform — provided you use the same EA account, of course.

Battlefield community members have confirmed this trick works.

For what it’s worth, you can create a PSN profile on a friend’s PS5, find a trial PS Plus subscription, use that to be an active subscriber, redeem the bundle, and it should be free to keep even on other platforms forever.
