Battlefield 6 Down on Oct. 20, as Players See the Game Gone From Library
If you’re having issues logging in to Battlefield 6 on PC (be it Steam or the EA App), it’s not just you, as loads of people have reported the same thing happening today.
While nothing official has been said for now, we’re assuming this is somehow connected to the Fortnite, Palworld issues that happened earlier today, which is tied to the Amazon servers.
Battlefield 6 Not Loading Properly or Failing to Connect
Update: EA has issued a statement regarding today’s outrage, stating, “We are investigating reports of disconnects, latency issues and connecting to wrong regions currently. This might be connected to a general outage that is affecting services outside our direct control. We are investigating what our teams can do to help bring back a smooth server experience. Thank you for your patience.”
We’ll have more on this as it develops.
Based on our own test, it seems the PC version is the one suffering the most. We managed to connect and complete a match on the PS5 version without a hitch.
However, on Steam, dozens of people have already chimed in on how they can’t play BF6. Outage reports have also been rising on Downdetector about it.
Not only that, but the game has disappeared from some players’ libraries on Steam! Content creator Battle(non)sense has shared the following image, which we’ve seen posted by members of the community as well:

So far, EA nor DICE have issued a statement on what’s happening with the game’s servers or the disappearing game from library glitch.
If we get a statement, we’ll update the article. If you can connect and play, let us know in the comments where you’re connecting from. While the reports are coming from PC gamers, we wouldn’t be surprised if this affected consoles as well.
In other Battlefield 6 news, the deadzone settings for controllers are broken, and here’s proof of it.
