Battlefield 6 PC Settings Change Will Drastically Improve Your Aim
For Battlefield 6 players on PC who seem to feel that aiming against infantry feels a bit “off,” there’s a setting change that could drastically improve your in-game performance.
While we already outlined a host of setting changes in our best settings guide for PC, consoles, and controllers, this one change should significantly improve your aim.
Read on for what change you need to make right now.

Players should turn off Uniform Infantry Aiming, and then scroll down to find the zoom sensitivity smoothing, turn that off as well, go back to Uniform Infantry Aiming, and turn it back on and put the coefficient at 0 (zero).
If you need help navigating the game’s maze-like settings menu, here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Go to “Mouse & Keyboard”
- Proceed to “Control Settings” and then hit Edit
- Turn off Uniform Infantry Aiming (make sure Zoom Sensitivity Coefficient is at 0)
- Turn off Zoom Transition Sensitivity Smoothing
- Then turn Uniform Infantry Aiming back on again
Here’s a quick video tutorial by Torbis on where to find the settings:

Multiple people who’ve tried it said it works, with one gamer stating that after the change, their aim “doesn’t slow down by itself when tracking enemies.”
Another one said they tried it, and “instantly felt the difference.”
We’re unsure if this will work with controller users on consoles or PC, but it’s worth a shot.
In other Battlefield 6 news, weapon and player progression have been buffed with a server update yesterday that makes grinding far more satisfying. Another change we’re expecting is with weapon bloom, though DICE hasn’t specified when that will be dropping.
