Battlefield 6 Matchmaking Down november 25

If you’re having issues connecting to Battlefield 6 multiplayer or find yourself in a queue way longer than usual, it’s not just you. It seems the gam e’s multiplayer component is down across all modes this November 25.

The Battlefield 6 battle royale mode, RedSec, doesn’t seem to be affected, but across consoles and PC, multiplayer is having issues.

Battlefield 6 Multiplayer Matchmaking Issues Arise on November 25

Battlefield 6 high CPU fix

Update: DICE has announced that matchmaking has been restored! Frag away, people!

Based on our own experience, matchmaking is broken now, as players are shunted to high ping lobbies. It’s either that or it takes a long time to get into a match.

This is something DICE is aware of, as the studio announced, “Matchmaking is currently unavailable across all Battlefield 6 multiplayer modes. REDSEC remains available and is not affected. We’re investigating and working to restore normal service, and will update you as soon as we have more to share.”

No word yet on how long this outage will take. If you are affected, leave a comment below and let us know your platform and which region you’re connecting from.

Note that this matchmaking issue is separate from the bots problem the game is suffering from, as DICE has acknowledged that but hasn’t said anything about a fix for it. Once DICE issues an update on this matchmaking issue, we’ll update the article with the info.

In other Battlefield 6 news, content for Season 2 and S3 have been unearthed, which gives us a sneak peek at what’s on the way. Also of note, in case you didn’t know, Battlefield 6 has been a tremendous success for EA that it’s now the biggest game launch in terms of revenue for the past three years.
