Report: Silent Hill Remake Developer Bloober Team Next Project to Be Unveiled at Summer Game Fest

Earlier this year, the studio announced a new Layers of Fear game, but it looks like another Bloober project is set to be revealed soon.
Reports Suggest Bloober Team Is Preparing Its Next Big Announcement
According to a recent report, which comes from Polish financing companies “Strefa Investorów” and “StockWatch”, Bloober Team is expected to announce its new AAA project in early June during Summer Game Fest 2026.
Could this Bloober project be tied to Onyx: The Dark Grip, which is a trademark the studio registered earlier this year?
Some of the studio’s upcoming titles, including a remake of the first Silent Hill, Layers of Fear 3, Project H, and Project M, have already been confirmed to be in development. However, it appears that more details may soon emerge about these projects or other unannounced titles currently in development.
With Summer Game Fest 2026 set to air during the first week of June, the event would be a fitting stage for the studio to reveal its next major horror title. As one of the biggest showcases in the gaming industry, SGF often serves as a platform for high-profile announcements and surprise reveals.
Bloober is no stranger to developing multiple projects at once, as the studio even encourages it. Last month, the studio’s boss mentioned how they do not want fewer than two games in production, as relying on a single title “creates too much risk.”
