Call of Duty 2014 Will Be The “Most Ambitious” and “Most Creative”, Says Sledgehammer

Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield says this year’s Call of Duty will be the “most ambitious” and “most creative” the studio has ever made.

Speaking at this year’s GDC alongside studio cofounder Michael Condrey, Schofield talked about the development process behind this year’s unannounced Call of Duty project, rumored to be another entry in the Modern Warfare series, calling it the “most ambitious, most creative game we’ve ever made.”

During the presentation, the studio also offered a quick glimpse of one of the game’s characters, though the showing was so brief, no images were captured.

Activision recently announced Sledgehammer Games as the publisher’s third studio dedicated to the development of yearly Call of Duty games alongside Infinity Ward and Treyarch.

Keep your eyes and ears open early May, which is typically the month that Activision officially announces the next Call of Duty title, as was the case with Call of Duty: Ghosts last year.

Thanks, Gamespot.
