Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Launch Trailer Replaces the Replacer
It wouldn’t be a Call of Duty Black Ops launch if it didn’t have our favorite live-action character, the Replacer, and sure enough, he’s back for Call of Duty Black Ops 7. Though this might actually be the last time we see him, at least for a while, as he’s taking off for space, leaving the Earth behind with no replacer.
Or so we thought, as it looks like he has his own Replacers, in case he ever needs to be replaced.
Terry Cruise and Nikki Glaser Replace Peter Stormare as the Replacers
We’re a few short weeks away from the release of Call of Duty Black Ops 7, and as with tradition for the series, a new “launch” trailer is now live featuring the Replacer. But as you’ll soon see in the trailer, Peter Stormare, who has played the Replacer for over seven years since his debut in Black Ops 4, is being replaced. His replacement? Terryu Cruise and Nikki Glaser, who have been called to take the mantle of the Replacer.
Truthfully, we can’t imagine that Peter is done with the role, though if this is the last time we ever get to see him as the character, let us say thank you for giving us some great marketing laughs.
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 launches on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on November 14, 2025. Season 1, the franchise’s biggest to date, will launch shortly after.
